CampuZ is a student campus app built to help Stony Brook University students access campus tools, chat, bus information, maps, schedules, and beta features in one place.

Beta note: Some features may still be under development. If something says “to be implemented,” it means the feature is planned but not active yet.

Response Time

During beta, we try to review support messages as soon as possible. For urgent safety concerns, contact campus emergency services or local authorities directly.

Login Help

  • Make sure your email address is entered correctly.
  • Check your spam or junk folder for verification emails.
  • Restart the app if login appears stuck.
  • Contact support if your account still cannot sign in.

Chat & Friends

  • Friend requests must be accepted before direct chat is available.
  • Notifications may require phone permissions to be enabled.
  • If messages do not appear, close and reopen the app.

Maps & Bus

  • Campus map data may be updated during beta.
  • Bus tracking depends on available campus transportation data.
  • Report incorrect building names, locations, or route issues.

Account & Data Requests

To request account deletion, data deletion, or help with your CampuZ account, email CampuZ support from the same email address used for your CampuZ account.

  1. Open your email app.
  2. Email thai.tran@stonybrook.edu or robert.figueroa@stonybrook.edu.
  3. Use the subject line: CampuZ Account Deletion Request.
  4. Include the email address connected to your CampuZ account.

We may ask for confirmation before deleting account-related data to protect your account from unauthorized requests.
